Pronounced: uh - lawn - EE - el
Based in Loganville, Ga. ALAANIEL has been DJing since April, 2019, having traversed several different musical outlets over their life. Regardless of their broad appreciation for the arts, ALAANIEL was always lead back to Bass. Starting even further back, ALAANIEL has composed traditional music with near-tangible lyrics since 2009, creating the backbone of their skills in producing and spinning the music of the underground.
Some great ways to describe ALAANIEL's music is deep, weighty Bass pared with abstract and wonky rhythms and melodies, only the best of which to tickle your brain and take you on a wild, energetic, and unique trip each time. With heavy influences from experimental/freeform bass, hybrid trap, (deep) dubstep, drum & bass, techno, and hip-hop, ALAANIEL dishes out new forms of lows and highs, while playing with the space in between for the bass connoisseur.

A symbol of a new beginning for ALAANIEL, this first release of the Wook Sours series delivers the vibe right away, and keeps it short as a taste test for your neurology.
"The introduction of Dubstep and revisiting of Drum and Bass was the final hook I needed to shift my attention from the Metal and Alternative Rock music that was just barely giving me what I didn’t know I wanted. This electric Bass music was so complicated and emotionally charged that lyrics weren’t even necessary to me anymore; I was hearing what I wanted to be said along with the reply right behind it. "

ALAANIEL's aesthetic is the sickly sweetness and barely-there texture of cotton candy. iT is evoked by pairing pastel pink and blue with both dark, edgy atmospheres or pastel, ethereal ones. Images of both cotton candy and other candies is associated with ALAANIEL's branding, so long as the color scheme stays consistent. Amorphous shapes, high contrast, and spiritual or self-interpretive elements are all key elements to ALAANIEL's visual work.
On fliers and visual promo, ALAANIEL offers logos with and without the name included. In cases where only logos are used to list artists, please use the version with the name displayed. In cases where the artist names are clearly associated with the logo, the version without the name is preferred.
During the show, and when possible, house color lighting should reflect ALAANIEL's cyan and magenta chromatic theme. For visual walls and screens, those same colors optionally pared with black, white, or purple is preferred with gradual transitions and psychedelic patterns.
